Transparency

If you are a regulator, or a worker deciding whether to trust us, this page is for you. It says plainly how the platform protects people. What is already live is described as live, and what is still planned is described as planned.

Adults only

Everyone passes an 18 plus screen before entering, and confirms they are 18 or over when they join. Stronger age assurance is planned, and the adult side is held back until it is in place.

Online Safety Act

We take our duties under the Online Safety Act 2023 seriously. How content is checked, how to report a concern and what we do about it is set out on our online safety page.

Taking an image down

Anyone can ask us to remove an image of them, with or without an account. A person reads every request. We aim to act the same day, and in every case within 48 hours.

Complaints and disputes

If you are unhappy, tell us and a person will look at it and reply. Where money is involved, we hold it and review it rather than guessing. You can write to us about a complaint or a concern at any time.

Why we use XRP

We follow all UK law and legislation. Banks and card companies are often reluctant to process payments in this field, so we chose a payment method that does not depend on them.

XRP is a digital currency built for moving value quickly and cheaply. A payment settles in seconds and costs a tiny fraction of a card payment, which is how we keep our fees low and pass the saving to providers.

Bank money is created by central banks, and its value can be diluted over time. XRP has a fixed supply that was set when it was created, so nobody can print more of it. That does not make its price steady: like all crypto it goes up and down, and you can lose money.

Want to pay by debit card? No problem, and it is even quicker with XRP. Buy your XRP on an exchange you trust, then send it here. Choose one with a high degree of security and regulation: you are relying on that exchange's own security, not ours, and we never see your bank card details. Check that it is registered with the Financial Conduct Authority.

Discretion matters too. A card payment shows on your bank statement and in your banking app, with a merchant name and a description, and your bank sees where the money went. An XRP payment appears only as a transfer from one address to another, with no merchant name and nothing about what it was for. That is discretion, not anonymity: the exchange you buy from knows who you are, and the ledger itself is public.

Exchanges are regulated too. In the UK, an exchange that deals in crypto has to be registered with the Financial Conduct Authority, check who its customers are and follow the money laundering rules, and that applies when you buy and when you cash out. XRP is not a way to hide income or avoid tax: you stay responsible for declaring what you receive. We use it because banks and card companies are often unwilling to work in this field, not to get round any rule.

We are not a bank or a financial adviser. Would you take out a mortgage from this website? Probably not, and you should not. We are a content platform. For financial advice or financial services, use a regulated firm. Crypto is not protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, and the Financial Ombudsman Service may not cover it.

How it works

Moderation

Every profile and every photograph is reviewed by a person before it appears, and reported content is looked at by staff. Staff actions are recorded, so there is a trail of who did what.

Fees and tokens

Prices are in tokens, shown before you pay. We say what a fee is and what it is for in plain words, and we do not add charges after the fact.

How to reach us

A regulator, a worker or anyone else can write to us at [email protected] for a safety concern or [email protected] for anything else, or use the Contact menu on any page. A person reads them.

Tell us what we missed

This page is our best account of what we do today. If you think something is missing or wrong, please tell us.

Why are there charges?

A fair question, and we would rather answer it plainly. Running a platform properly costs money: the best technology, the best software developers, security testing, and the audits that let us be open with you about how we work. Those costs are real, and we have kept them to a minimum.

That is why there is a small subscription that covers the running costs, with nothing hidden on top. It is a business, and we are open about that. We hope this becomes a platform you can win on.

We have chosen not to depend on traditional banking, which is why we use XRP and why our fees stay low (see Why we use XRP above, including the risks). Its speed and flexibility are what make instant payments possible. They are being rolled out and are not live for everyone yet: once they are, a creator who is fully verified and in good standing is paid straight after a purchase.
